the writing of this album took longer than usual - I decided to improvise less on this one and hone down the tunes to three minute pop songs, and spend time getting the loops and arrangements just right. On top of this, my looper decided to only work intermittantly and this made the recording longer as I didn't have the funds to replace it.

The album title is dedicated to Chelmsford and the track titles are all taken from places in Essex and East London that aim for the exotic even though they are a greasy spoon on the A12.
